About the Poster Case 2000

The Poster Case 2000 is our premium double-sided external notice board. The 75mm-deep aluminium case is divided by a steel centre panel, creating a separate display area with a single glazed door on each side.

Each door is glazed with 4mm shatter-resistant Plexichoc and fitted with a double key lock. An elastomer weather seal and anti-condensation ventilation help to minimise condensation within the display case.

The internal display surface is zinc electroplated steel, allowing notices and posters to be easily attached using magnets.

Post-mounted boards are supplied with two circular aluminium posts with black lacquered top caps. Each post is supplied with two dovetailed cast aluminium clamps, allowing the notice board to be securely attached and its height adjusted without drilling.

The rapid-swap door system allows a damaged door to be replaced quickly without tools and without removing the complete notice board.

Portrait boards are side-hinged on the left and open to the right. Landscape boards are top-hinged and supported by gas struts for easier opening.

Important

Please note that the internal steel display surface is not suitable for use with whiteboard marker pens.

Materials & Standards

The Poster Case 2000 is manufactured using aluminium profile EN AW 6060 – BS EN 573-3.

The doors are glazed with Plexichoc, a transparent, UV-blocking organic glazing material offering excellent impact resistance in accordance with ISO 7032-2.

Aluminium posts are manufactured from EN AW 6106, EN AW 6060 and EN AW 6063 – EN 755-2, providing high mechanical strength.

Installation

As standard, the board is supplied with two 76mm diameter circular posts with black lacquered steel top caps.

Four dovetailed cast aluminium clamps are included, allowing quick assembly without drilling and enabling the height of the notice board to be adjusted on the posts.

Posts are designed to be concreted directly into the ground, with a recommended installation depth of 600mm.

Post Options

Standard Circular Posts
Two 76mm diameter circular posts are supplied as standard.

Quatro Post Set – Optional Extra
The board can alternatively be supplied with a set of two oblong Quatro posts with an 80 × 125mm cross-section and black lacquered steel top caps.

Four dovetailed cast aluminium clamps are included for quick assembly without drilling. The board height can be adjusted during installation. Posts should be concreted directly into the ground to a recommended depth of 600mm.

Quatro posts are particularly useful when several notice boards need to be banked together. Their design allows multiple boards to be installed in a straight line or positioned at angles, with up to four boards arranged at 90 degrees.

Quatro Post Plus
A single 80 × 125mm oblong post, supplied with four clamps, for linking two notice boards together.

In locations exposed to substantial wind, installation by concreting the post directly into the ground is strongly recommended.

Quatro Post Set with Base Plates
A set of two Quatro posts, 2058mm high, supplied with oval steel base plates measuring 220 × 180mm.

This option is suitable for fixing onto a suitable concrete base only.

Glazing Options

The doors are supplied as standard with shatter-resistant Plexichoc glazing.

Guarantee

The Poster Case 2000 is supplied with a 5-year guarantee against manufacturing faults.

Coastal Locations

Powder-coated frames are not recommended for locations within 5km of the coastline. Salt-laden air, sea spray and high winds can adversely affect both the frame finish and locking mechanisms.
