The Oak Post Mounted External Notice Board combines the timeless appearance of traditional solid oak with carefully selected modern materials to create a durable, secure and attractive freestanding outdoor display solution.

The notice board is supported by two robust man-made timber posts, providing a practical and durable mounting solution for locations where wall fixing is not suitable.

They are ideally suited to schools, churches, parish and town councils, community buildings, visitor centres, businesses and other public spaces where notices need to be displayed securely and professionally.

Traditional Solid Oak Construction

Each notice board is manufactured with a solid oak frame, providing a high-quality traditional appearance that complements both heritage and contemporary surroundings.

The oak is protected with a microporous wood stain finish, allowing the timber to breathe while providing protection against the elements. A choice of light oak or dark oak finishes is available, making it easy to coordinate the board with its intended location.

The notice board is mounted on two man-made timber posts, selected for their durability, stability and suitability for long-term external use. These provide a strong freestanding support system while complementing the appearance of the oak-framed display cabinet.

Behind the solid oak frame is a premium Tricoya® back panel, combining traditional craftsmanship with advanced material technology.

Tricoya® is an acetylated wood panel material engineered to provide exceptional dimensional stability and durability, making it particularly well suited to demanding exterior applications. Its use helps create a notice board designed for dependable, long-term outdoor service.

Weather-Resistant Glazed Display

The glazed display area incorporates 4mm toughened safety glass, offering excellent visibility while providing a strong and safe barrier between displayed information and the external environment.

Integrated weather seals help protect the contents from adverse weather conditions, while concealed ventilation at the top and bottom of the glazed cabinet encourages continuous airflow. This intelligent ventilation system is designed to help minimise condensation without detracting from the board's traditional appearance.

Secure & Durable Hardware

For reliable everyday operation, glazed doors are fitted with carefully selected nickel-plated brass or stainless steel hinges. These durable components have been chosen with longevity and ease of maintenance in mind.

The glazed display area is also securely lockable with key-operated locks, helping to protect important notices and prevent unauthorised access.

Where public access is required, glazed bays can alternatively be specified with a latch system.

Self-Healing Pinboard Surface

Internally, the board features a high-quality self-healing rubber pinboard surface, providing a practical and attractive background for posters, notices and announcements.

The self-healing properties help reduce visible pinholes after notices are removed, allowing the display surface to maintain a smart and professional appearance through repeated use.
