Parkland Wall Mounted Double Door External Notice Board

Description

Parkland Iroko Wooden Notice Boards

About the Product

Our Parkland Iroko Notice Board has been designed to complement rural and heritage environments, making it the perfect choice for parish councils, village halls, churches, schools, country parks, nature reserves and visitor attractions.

Manufactured from premium quality solid Iroko hardwood, these beautifully crafted notice boards combine traditional styling with exceptional durability. Available as wall mounted or post mounted, they can be supplied in single, double or triple door configurations to suit your display requirements.

Each notice board is fitted with impact-resistant polycarbonate glazing as standard and features a choice of either a grey pinboard or magnetic backing. Discreet ventilation helps reduce condensation, while the rear of the board is manufactured from marine-grade plywood for excellent weather resistance.

Locking Options

The Parkland notice board is available with a choice of two locking systems to suit your requirements.

Standard Key Lock

Ideal for parish councils, schools and organisations that wish to control access to the display area. The notice board is supplied with a secure key-operated lock, ensuring only authorised users can update notices.

Thumb Lock (Public Access Lock)

Perfect for communities where residents and local groups are encouraged to display notices. The thumb lock allows the notice board to be opened without a key, providing convenient public access while still keeping the door securely closed.

Both locking options are manufactured from high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials and are designed for reliable outdoor use.

Display Capacity

The Parkland range is available in a variety of display sizes.

The standard double-door model displays 8 x A4 portrait notices (2 rows × 2 columns per door).

Larger triple door models are available to accommodate increased display capacities.

Engraved Header

Every Parkland notice board is supplied with an attractive engraved timber header.

• Up to 30 engraved characters are included in the price.
• Matching engraved footers are also available at an additional cost.

If you require additional engraving or bespoke wording, please call 02476 010076.

Why Choose Iroko?

Iroko is one of the finest hardwoods available for outdoor notice boards, offering an attractive natural appearance with outstanding durability.

Benefits of Iroko

• Extremely durable hardwood
• Naturally resistant to rot and insect attack
• Less prone to splitting than many alternative timbers, including oak
• Requires very little maintenance
• Ideal for long-term outdoor use
• Beautiful golden-brown appearance that naturally weathers to an attractive silver-grey patina

If preferred, the timber can be stained or treated at any time to maintain its original colour. A care sheet is available on request.

Sustainably Manufactured

Our Parkland notice boards are manufactured using responsibly sourced Iroko from well-managed, sustainable forests.

Every component has been carefully engineered to provide outstanding strength, longevity and weather resistance. Built by experienced craftsmen, each notice board is manufactured with meticulous attention to detail to ensure years of reliable service.
